Last In Line – Former members of DIO, Black Sabbath and Def Leppard

Last In Line was formed in 2011, when Vinny Appice, Jimmy Bain, and Vivian Campbell, (Ronnie James Dio’s co-conspirators and co-writers on the “Holy Diver”, “Last In Line” – the album from which they took their name, and “Sacred Heart” albums) teamed up with esteemed vocalist Andrew Freeman. The debut album “Heavy Crown” was released in February 2016, landing at #1 on the Billboard Heat-Seekers Chart. Initially, the release had been preceded by tragedy when bassist Jimmy Bain unexpectedly passed away at the age of 68 on January 23, 2016. Last In Line, honoring what they knew would be Bain’s wish to keep the band moving, brought in renowned bassist Phil Soussan (ex-Ozzy Osbourne) and committed to sustained touring in support of the album, hitting festivals, headlining clubs, and sharing the stage with metal luminaries such as Saxon and Megadeth.

The Emerson, Lake & Palmer Legacy with Carl Palmer

Considered by many to be one of rock’s original first super-groups, Emerson Lake & Palmer formed in England in 1970 consisting of Keith Emerson (keyboards), Greg Lake (bass guitar, vocals, guitar) and Carl Palmer (drums, percussion). The band created a brand new world of music, combining classical and symphonic rock fused with beautiful vocals. Their penchant for appropriating themes from classical music and the group’s more nuanced, textured approach to symphonic arrangements set ELP apart from their more bombastic guitar-based contemporaries of the time.

The Gilmour Project

The Gilmour Project was poised and ready to launch in April 2020, then the world hit the pause button. They re-emerge in 2021 pivoting to David Gilmour’s Pink Floyd repertoire. The songs that compel exploration & improvisation are mainly Gilmour’s and this rendition certainly does not dismiss the iconic contributions of all 5 historic musicians that comprise the Pink Floyd complement. The Gilmour Project incorporates musicians whose background is both prog(ressive) AND improvisational, and is the only band since Blue Floyd in 2000, endeavoring to take these songs ‘OUT,’ speaking in jazz protocol, without disregarding the cherished classic hooks, licks & musical phrases. Acclaimed musicians Jeff Pevar (lead guitar with CSN, David Crosby, Phil Lesh, Ray Charles) and Kasim Sulton (bass & vocals with Todd Rundgren’s Utopia, Meatloaf & Blue Oyster Cult), Prairie Prince (co founder of The Tubes, & drums with Todd Rundgren, Jefferson Starship, Phil Lesh), Mark Karan (guitar & vocals with Bob Weir, RatDog, The Other Ones), and Scott Guberman (keyboard & vocals with Phil Lesh), are more than psyched to bring you the The Gilmour Project

Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox – Rescheduled from 9/24/20 & 10/1/21

“New Music…Old Style” is how the band describes itself. Imagine some of the biggest pop hits from the 90s through today done in the style of the Roaring 20s! “Sweet Child O’ Mine”, “All About That Bass”, “Bad Romance” “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” are just a few of the wide variety of songs performed as if the band was in a smoke-filled, Al Capone speakeasy. The rotating cast consists of the most talented vocalists borrowed from television, Broadway and film. Usually performing at The Chicago Theatre, we are so excited to welcome Post Modern Jukebox to The Arcada! With over one billion YouTube views with 3.5 million subscribers, and more than 1.7 million fans on Facebook, this is one of the most popular touring bands on the road today! You can’t miss this one!

Eric Johnson’s Treasure Tour 2022

Eric Johnson has been traveling on a prolific odyssey over the course of more than four decades. Along the way, his creations have encompassed repertoire that cross pollinate genres which include rock, blues, jazz, fusion, soul, folk, new-age, classical and even country. Inevitably E.J. says it best himself in sharing. “It really boils down to the music and the song at the end of the day,” he explains. “If it doesn’t have that it gets boring for me. The most important thing for me is to grow musically and make a more expansive and meaningful artistic statement with every new project.”
