Michael Schenker’s 50th Anniversary Tour with special guests Eric Martin “The Voice of Mr. Big” and Images of Eden

Michael Schenker laid the foundations for one of hard rock’s most glorious solo careers of all times. And while nobody expected anything less from a former guitarist for Scorpions and UFO, it’s close to impossible mentioning everything Michael has built over the past 50 years, or the countless people he influenced or played with. This, truly, is the stuff that hard rocking myths are made of. I never looked back, is how Michael dryly sums up an extraordinary career. Due to this mindset, he only realized much later what a huge impact his playing had made on the world of metal and hard rock. Very few guitarists can be cited as a primary influence for the likes of James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, Dave Mustaine, Dimebag Darrell, Slash or Kerry King.

Jay and the Americans with Special Guest A Spoonful of Love – TWO SHOWS…ONE PRICE

JAY AND THE AMERICANS, started by four teenage boys in Sandy Yaguda’s Brooklyn basement fifty years ago, is one of the lasting success stories in Rock ‘n Roll history. Few bands have ever reached the musical heights of JAY AND THE AMERICANS. From 1962 to 1971, this group charted an amazing twelve Top Ten records. With three original band members, founding member Sandy Yaguda (aka Deanne); original member Howie Kirschenbaum (aka Kane); and original member Marty Kupersmith (aka Sanders), plus the addition of Jay Reincke, the third and likely the best “Jay” yet, they have recreated the authentic sound of their greatest hits. Hits include Tonight (from the musical West Side Story), She Cried, Only In America, Come A Little Bit Closer, Cara Mia, and This Magic Moment.

$10 Silent Film DOUBLE FEATURE Night – Saturday Afternoon AND Soldier Man

Saturday Afternoon – Henpecked husband Harry is coerced by a good time pal to go on a clandestine double date. Of course, no good will come of this, as they encounter streetwalkers, bumpy roads, and a couple of toughs previously jilted by their dates. Soldier Man – After the armistice, one U.S. soldier remains unaccounted for: he’s wandering the fields of Bomania, hungry, thinking the war is still on. (He was in a German prison camp, escaping while his captors celebrated the Great War’s end.) Turns out, he’s the spitting image of Bomania’s King Strudel. The prime minister wants Strudel to sign a peace treaty ending civil war with a cousin. Bomania’s General Von Snootzer wants the war to continue, so he contrives to derail the treaty. Strudel is a drunk, his queen hates him. Into the mix stumbles our dough boy. If he can pass for the king, maybe the treaty can continue Live accompaniment provided by Chicagoland’s premiere organist Jay Warren!

Accept with special guests Lita Ford and Narcotic Wasteland

ACCEPT has been a worldwide music phenomenon for more than 40 years. They still impress with razor-sharp guitar licks and a steel-hard sound. The band created all-time metal classics like “Balls To The Wall,” “Metal Heart,” and many more. When ACCEPT first launched at the end of the 70s, the metal genre didn’t even exist – at first the band could only be labelled as “crazy loud and crazy wild”. Today we know that this was (and is) metal par excellence!

John Waite

The ride began when Waite was tapped as bassist and lead vocalist for the Baby’s, who rocketed to Top 20 chart positions with a pair of infections hits, “Isn’t it Time” from the band’s sophomore LP, Broken Heart in 1977 and the monster ballad, “Every Time I Think of You”, off 1978’s Head First. But it was the album’s rhythmically aggressive and seductive title track where fans got their first glimpse of the authentic John Waite, a no-holds-barred rock n’ roll performer devoted heart and soul to live performance and making sure every fan in the audience left the concert hall just as elated and exhausted as the band they’d paid to see.

Eros Ramazzotti: Battito Infinito Tour at the Rosemont Theatre

Eros Ramazzotti is unquestionably one of the most successful artists, with songs that have marked the history of Italian music and have been heard around the world: 70 million records sold, 2 billion streams and almost 2 billion views on YouTube.  After 14 studio albums, completely sold out European and world tours, innumerable awards, certifications and acknowledgements, he is now celebrating 35 years of his career with the WORLD TOUR PREMIÈRE – ten exclusive previews for a new chapter in his artistic and musical career, in five of the most prestigious arenas in the world, starting on 15 September 2022 at La Maestranza in Seville, then in Agrigento, Verona, Athens and Caesarea.  In November 2021, he was the first Italian artist to sign a global deal for his artistic activity around the world: an agreement between Radiorama – the legacy company that produces all of Ramazzotti’s artistic work – and Vertigo, an Italian company that is part of the Eventim Live International group, a German entertainment giant. For the first time, an Italian artist has partnered with a single entity, a leader in the field of live production, on all aspects of his career. The last unreleased album of unreleased songs by Eros, “Vita ce n’è” dates back to 2018, followed by a colossal tour of over 90 shows in 32 countries around the world, the “Vita Ce N’è World Tour”, which started at the Olympiahalle in Munich with a double sold out performance. The album marks the beginning of the project of remastering and reissuing on vinyl and in digital format the records that have marked his artistic journey, a musical voyage through many different stages to rediscover a timeless catalog: “Dove C’è Musica”, “Nuovi Eroi”, “Tutte Storie”, “ER9S”, “Stilelibero”, “In Ogni Senso”, “In Certi Momenti”.

The debut album “Heavy Crown” was released in February 2016, landing at #1 on the Billboard Heat-Seekers Chart. Initially, the release had been preceded by tragedy when bassist Jimmy Bain unexpectedly passed away at the age of 68 on January 23, 2016. Last In Line, honoring what they knew would be Bain’s wish to keep the band moving, brought in renowned bassist Phil Soussan (ex-Ozzy Osbourne) and committed to sustained touring in support of the album, hitting festivals, headlining clubs, and sharing the stage with metal luminaries such as Saxon and Megadeth.

Welcome Back My Friends: The Return of Emerson Lake & Palmer

Sole surviving member Carl Palmer, in association with the Estates of his bandmates Keith Emerson & Greg Lake, has announced the much anticipated  WELCOME BACK MY FRIENDS- THE RETURN OF EMERSON LAKE &  PALMER Tour.  The tour will actually reunite ELP LIVE ON STAGE through modern technology. After exploring the idea of a Hologram tour in detail, Palmer (with the Estates of Emerson and Lake) opted for what they felt was a more honest approach using live footage of Keith and Greg on massive video walls alongside Carl (and his band) playing LIVE on stage. The voice and instrumentation of Greg Lake and the unmistakable keyboard mastery of Keith Emerson will be mixed with Palmer’s onstage live drumming to magically reunite ELP once again. Paul McCartney’s duet with John Lennon at the end of his recent Got Back tour is a good idea of what ELP fans can expect from this show.

Lee Greenwood “God Bless The USA”

Music has always been a part of Lee Greenwood’s life. He started playing the piano when he was seven and the saxophone at 12.  With seven #1 songs & 25 charted singles to his credit, choosing songs proved to be a success for Greenwood. His country hits include: “It Turns Me Inside Out”, “Ring On Her Finger Time On Her Hands”, ”She’s Lying”, “I Don’t Mind the Thorns If You’re The Rose”, “Dixie Road”, “Somebody’s Gonna Love You”, “Going Going Gone”, “You Got A Good Love Comin”, “Fools Gold”, and “Mornin Ride” while he already garnered several crossover hits such as “Touch & Go Crazy”, “IOU” and the duet with Barbara Mandrell, “To Me”. Lee Greenwood has won numerous industry awards including, Male Vocalist of the Year from the Academy of Country Music in 1983, two Male Vocalist of the Year awards from the Country Music Association in 1983 & 1984 and a Grammy for Top Male Vocal Performance in 1985 for “I.O.U.”. The CMA also named “God Bless The U.S.A.” its Song of the Year in 1985. “God Bless the USA” went far beyond what Greenwood expected when he wrote it in the back of his tour bus in 1983. The song has been in the top five on the country singles charts three times (1991, 2001 and 2003), giving it the distinction of being the only song in any genre of music to achieve that feat. It was also #1 on the pop charts after 9/11/01. In addition, CBS News voted “God Bless The U.S.A.” the most recognizable patriotic song in America.

The BoDeans

Long known as one of the best live acts in the business, The BoDeans continue to tour year round and continue to deliver amazing, high-energy performances. Chart topping songs like “Fadeaway”, “Only Love”, and “Dreams” won them Rolling Stone‘s readers poll for Best New American Band in 1987, and they were part of a small contingent of bands that inspired a new radio format known as Adult Alternative Album Rock. Their reputation for delivering a dynamic live show garnered support slots with U2/”Joshua Tree” Tour, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Tom Petty, George Thorogood, The Pretenders, David Bowie, and appearances at Farm Aid, Summerfest, and ACL, among others. They’ve been featured on SNL, Letterman, Today, Imus, CNN, ESPN, and many more. In the nearly 30 years that followed, the band released several albums which embody multiple more songs played heavily at radio, in TV shows, and movies, and defined a sound that a generation embraced–songs like “Good Things”, “You Don’t Get Much”, “Idaho”, “If It Makes You”, “Closer to Free”, “Stay”, “American”, and “All the World”, which was recently featured on CMT.
