Glenn Hughes with Special Guest Enuff Z’Nuff
Vocalist/bass guitarist/songwriter Glenn Hughes is a true original. No other rock musician has carved such a distinctive style blending the finest elements of hard rock, soul and funk. That astonishing voice is Hughes’ calling card. Hughes, a native of Cannock, England, absorbed all kinds of influences, including early British hard rock, the Beatles and, most importantly, American soul and R&B. The sleek Motown sound from Detroit and the gritty Stax/Volt sound from Memphis left their mark on him. Best known as the lead singer in Deep Purple, some of his greatest hits include “Burn”, “Still The Night”, ” The Look In Your Eye”, ” You Kill Me”, and more!
Enuff Z’Nuff are the living, breathing example of what a rock/pop group should be. The band’s first release, Fingers On It, gave the band some initial recognition when the track was featured in the 1986 cult movie, Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer. Still a major force after 20+ albums, Enuff Z’Nuff still has a legion of loyal fans, and has earned the respect and acclaim of its peers and contemporaries.
