Head East, Vanilla Fudge, and Iron Butterfly
The legendary classic rock band Head East has long set the standard for authentic, full-vocal, goodtime rock harmonies that few bands can equal. Their high-energy shows are filled with superb vocals, flashy guitar work and memorable keyboard melodies that continue to rock audiences of all ages. Their signature song, “THERE’S NEVER BEEN ANY REASON (Save My Life)” has long-been considered by many radio stations across the country as “The Rock & Roll National Anthem.”
Vanilla Fudge was one of the first American groups to infuse psychedelia into a heavy rock sound to create “psychedelic symphonic rock” an eclectic genre which would, among its many offshoots, eventually morph into heavy metal.
Iron Butterfly has toured with the likes of The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, The Grateful Dead, Traffic, The Who, and Cream. Their claim to fame, “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida”, stayed on the charts for 140 weeks, with 81 weeks in the Top Ten. To date, the album has sold in excess of 30 million copies and remains an undisputed classic in the archives of rock with DJ’s and audiophiles worldwide!
