Buckcherry with Special Guests VenRez and Fuzzrd

Ask Josh Todd about the inspiration behind Warpaint, Buckcherry’s eighth studio album–and indeed, the frontman’s goal in making music–and he’s got a ready response: “I want to connect with people, host the party, and give people a night they’re never going to forget,” Todd says. As he sings in Warpaint’s title track, “I wanna have fun blowing out your eardrums keep it rocking state to state.” The Los Angeles-based lineup has been doing exactly that since the 1999 release of their self-titled album. Hits including “Lit Up,” “For the Movies,” “Crazy Bitch” and “Sorry,” not to mention Grammy nominations, international touring and Platinum sales, have solidified Buckcherry’s rock ‘n’ roll bona fides.

Venrez has created a new genre they call Epic Alt Rock. In your face, raw rock n roll music with intelligent lyrics that contain important lessons and messages, along with the killer two-part harmonies.

At its best, rock ‘n’ roll combines seemingly random atoms into a single, undeniable force. Chaos meets control. Jagged edges somehow fit together just right. That kinda sums up what FuZZrd is all about.

Zebra // Angel

Zebra is a hard rock band founded in 1975 in New Orleans, Louisiana. It features Randy Jackson (guitar and vocals), Felix Hanemann (bass, keyboards and vocals) and Guy Gelso (drums and vocals).

Zebra supported their first album by opening on national tours with Loverboy, Cheap Trick, and a few dates with Journey. Even before the first album release, they had gained considerable attention opening for the likes of Kiss, ZZ Top, Aerosmith, and Molly Hatchet. A newspaper review of the 3/1/83 Nassau Coliseum Zebra / Aerosmith show told this story: “With the capacity crowd’s response to Zebra’s electrifying performance was so overwhelming, Steven Tyler and company declined to take the stage for an hour and a half in order to allow everyone to simmer down. Unfortunately for them, the delaying tactic backfired… when the headliners eventually did appear, a renewed chorus of Zebra cheers greeted them”. Needless to say,  Zebra holds their own among the greats of classic rock and are sure to deliver a show that will leave you buzzing for days after.
