St. Charles, IL: Since the Pheasant Run Resort’s opening in 1963, the theatre located within the property has been hosting plays, musicals and appearances by some of the biggest names in show biz. Mostly, there has been an in-house production company that would produce the shows. But Ron Onesti, President and CEO of The Arcada Theatre which is located just a couple miles west, has agreed to expand his operations to include the property just to the East.

“I am so excited to join forces with The Pheasant Run and its Theatre. The Pheasant Run has been an icon in the western suburbs for years, and as The Arcada is enjoying its 91st year, people are swarming to experience the concerts, comedy and the new 1920s Speakeasy there,” said Ron Onesti. “Our partnership with The Pheasant Run will allow us to produce more family-friendly shows that can help satisfy the demand for quality entertainment in the Fox Valley.”

The new venture will be called “The Arcada Family Theatre at Pheasant Run”. It will host concerts, musicals and special presentations representative of the theatre in its “Hey-day”.
